Location Airport Rail Link

The Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link started its official operation since August 2010, offering commuters faster travel times between Bangkok’s International airport and the city centre.
Operating daily from 06.00 to 24.00, the Airport Link to Suvarnabhumi Airport will provide 2 Transit options:

Express Train

Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link is now ready to provide check-in and luggage transfer services at Makkasan Station. Passengers can check in at Makkasan Station 3-12 hours before their flights on their way to the airport terminal, Suvarnabhumi Station. The ride will take 15 minutes from the City Air Terminal (Makkasan) train station. This service will connect to the city's mass transit subway system. Passengers will have the opportunity of checking in their luggage at the City Air Terminal, before boarding the express train to Suvarnabhumi airport.

It costs THB 150per person for a non-stop trip between Makkasan and the airport.

City Link Train

The ride will take 30 minutes to travel the 28 kilometers (17 miles) to the airport, making six stops along the way throughout the city, and linking with both the Subway (MRT) and Skytrain (BTS) systems in Bangkok.

The cost of the City Line is between THB 15 - THB 45 according to distance travelled between Phayathai Station and Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Getting to the hotel

Upon arrival head to the airport rail link located on the basement level of Suvarnabhumi Airport.Citin Pratunam Bangkok Hotel guests are highly recommended to purchase a City Line ticket to Ratchaprarop Station, the station closest to the hotel, and on arrival at the station they can get a taxi to the hotel. Exit through exit 1 and walk straight ahead. Till the end of the station, you will see a railway track on the left. Just simply cross to the other side (watch out for trains). Once cross over, watch out for a small little path on the left that leads to the hotel.
